What is Sclerotherapy?

Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment used to treat varicose and spider veins. The procedure involves the injection of a solution directly into the affected vein(s), causing them to shrink and eventually disappear. Sclerotherapy costs less than surgery, requires no hospital stay, and allows a quicker return to work and normal activities. Sclerotherapy reduces symptoms and improves the appearance in most people who have varicose veins

The number of treatments depends on the type and the extent of the veins involved. The total number of sessions may vary from a minimum of 2 to a total of 4-6 treatments.
